J.Horton Roofing began in 2009 when Joe Horton started trading independently in Grimsby after years working roofs across North East Lincolnshire. The plan was straightforward: do the job properly, price it honestly and never leave a site in a worse state than when the crew arrived.
That approach has not changed as the business has grown. We are still a small, hands-on crew rather than a call centre with subcontractors. Every job is handled by people who will answer the phone if something needs revisiting.

2017 - Cleethorpes and Immingham coverage grows
Demand across the area increases and J.Horton begins regularly covering Immingham, Waltham and Humberston as standard.
2022 - 1,000th new roof installed
A milestone re-roof in Grimsby marks the 1,000th full installation completed by the team.
Today - Still hands-on
